Untold Faith was formed in the town of Carei, which has also given rise to another notable Romanian metal act, Psycho Symphony, through two musicians who are members of both bands.
The band stands out for translating ambitious musical ideas into a sound that is as aggressive as it is technical and intricate. Their debut EP, No Image, Just Substance, delivers exactly what its title promises: three instrumentally rich tracks that evolve from technical thrash into progressive metal, complemented by groovy rhythms and melancholic clean vocals.
Drawing influence from bands such as Gojira, Nevermore, Psychotic Waltz, Mekong Delta, SikTh, and Riverside, Untold Faith quickly established itself as one of the most promising live acts on the Romanian progressive metal scene.
